Day tour of Pitlochry, Blair Atholl Castle and Edradour Distillery. (Friday 18th July)

We would like to invite you to enjoy some of the beautiful surroundings of Scotland. We have arranged a coach tour with a guide to visit Pitlochry, Blair Atholl Castle and Edradour Distillery. At just £35, including lunch, we hope this will prove to be a relaxing end to a busy week.

More about the tour

Regarded by many, as the Gateway to the Highlands Pitlochry and the surrounding area is Scotland in miniature.  Famous for it's scenery and hydroelectric dam with salmon ladder where the salmon don't actually jump up the ladder but swim through interconnecting pipes.  An observation chamber allows visitors to watch the salmon underwater through a large plate glass window. In addition to the scenery and dam, there is the Festival Theatre built in 1981, 2 distilleries, nearby Blair Castle at Blair Atholl with summer horse trials, Killiecrankie (battle 1689) and a wide selection of tourist shops and restaurants.

Edradour Distillery

Edradour is produced in Scotland's smallest distillery - and is hand made today as it was over 150 years ago by just three men who are devoted to the time-honoured methods of whisky making. Indeed equipment used at the distillery has remained unchanged since the day the distillery opened and is only just capable of producing commercial quantities. Only 12 casks of whisky are produced a week, making Edradour single malt a rare pleasure for a fortunate few.
